The Senior Project Manager manages strategic projects across company business lines. The position is directly responsible for leading and managing multiple, concurrent projects from requirements capture through delivery. Primary Responsibilities/Duties
  • Manage day-to-day PM project activities such as scope, cost, schedule, issue & risk tracking and vendor management on rapid and highly visible initiatives.
  • Gather and document requirements from the appropriate business groups, create requirements documentation and create/review project charters.
  • Conduct project planning and status meetings with assigned staff, ensuring that the project stays on track.
  • Create schedules, spreadsheets and lead each assigned project through the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, transition and close.
  • Coordinating project and workflow management. Prioritizing tasks to effectively manage day-to- day issues.
  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources appropriately.
  • Effectively communicating overall project status to all stakeholders.
  • Executes complex assignments where individual judgment is required in to resolve problems and make strategic recommendations.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior project management role
  • Experience managing multiple strategic projects at one time
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Real estate knowledge required
  • High degree of competency with project management and methodology including: scoping, issue & risk identification, general management, tracking dependencies and milestones, user acceptance testing, and communication of overall project status
  • Exercise independent judgment when developing work plans, reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Demonstrates sense of urgency, initiative, responsiveness
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience in consensus building and creating highly effective presentations for senior management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable working with and protecting highly confidential information
