<h5><strong>ABOUT THIS ROLE</strong></h5>
<p>Under the general supervision of the VP of Housing, the VP of Asset Management is a seasoned, passionate asset management professional, who will oversee and optimize the performance of our client’s stabilized Real Estate portfolio. The VP will lead our Asset Management team, overseeing the financial and physical performance of their multifamily, senior, office, and retail real estate assets.</p>
<h5><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li>Establish annual goals reflecting market conditions and provide monthly budget vs actual cash flows.</li>
<li>Produce reports on assigned portfolio monthly, quarterly, and annually for all parties involved in a project</li>
<li>Support accounting as necessary for specific investments</li>
<li>Participate in property operating budgets’ preparation and approval process including CAM reconciliations</li>
<li>Review monthly property operating financial reports, identifying, and resolving discrepancies.</li>
<li>Work with legal to edit necessary legal documents</li>
<li>Review loan and interest schedules, lender escrows schedules; verify bank loan and escrow account calculations for accuracy; compile required loan compliance packages as necessary</li>
<li>Stay abreast of current market conditions in order to understand their portfolio from a leasing and investment perspective</li>
<li>Negotiate terms of lease contracts with prospective tenants and/or property managers</li>
<li>Ensure property obligations are fulfilled, documentation and property issues are resolved, and potential shortfalls are communicated timely</li>
<li>Work closely with property management teams to ensure maximum occupancy and income</li>
<li>Utilize Excel spreadsheets to produce timely and accurate project cash flows and/or financial projections; update project/development budgets and forecasts monthly with actual results</li>
</ul>
<h5><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li>Bachelors' Degree in Business, Finance, Property Management or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred</li>
<li>A minimum of ten (10) years of professional work experience in multifamily asset management required</li>
<li>Knowledge of commercial real estate raw land, income producing properties, and development/construction processes</li>
<li>Ability to accurately review, assess, and provide detailed information as required on multiple projects in an organized manner</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet multiple recurring performance deadlines</li>
<li>Strong critical and creative thinking skills</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $175,000</p>
