Commercial Property Manager

The Property Manager helps oversee the day-to-day operations for retail, office, and industrial properties all over San Diego County. They will be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation and that financial goals are met.

Salary:

• From $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities and Duties

• Participates in the production of the monthly financial reports
• Works with the Controller in the budgeting process to establish the scope and cost of any potential capital improvements for the coming year
• Enlists the assistance of the Administrative Assistant in contacting tenants who have not paid on time for the timely collection of rents
• Oversees the approval of invoices and ensures that Accounts Payable are processed in a timely manner. Responsible for invoicing when appropriate
• Collects gross sales reports from the appropriate tenants and calculates the percentage rent, for those tenants who pay percentage rent
• Reviews all Lease Summaries for new leases or renewals at the properties
• Tour the properties and meet with tenants on a regular basis
• Works with an attorney on Tenant evictions or on other legal matters at the properties
• Ensures there are Certificates of Insurance for all tenants at the properties and for all vendors working on the properties
• Ensures all tenant files are maintained both in paper form and electronically

Requirements:

• 2+ years Commercial Property Management experience
• Communication proficiency (oral and written)
• Must be able to exercise good judgment and be self-motivated
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Leadership skills and team-oriented
• Proficient with computer software
