Human Resources Director
Nick Teas is a dedicated and driven Human Resources (HR) professional. With a strong educational background in Business and Psychology, Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree from Chapman University. There, he developed a solid foundation in general business, leadership and management, and the fundamentals of HR.
Driven by a desire to enter and excel in the field of HR, Nick joined JWilliams Staffing as an HR Administrative Assistant in 2021 and within just one week, he was promoted to Onboarding Coordinator. In this role, with a keen sense for developing and refining effective processes, Nick streamlined the onboarding process for new temporary employees.
Nick Teas proved to be a dedicated HR professional who embodies the core values of JWilliams Staffing and connects deeply with the company’s mission. With a commitment to excellence, Nick continually strived to enhance all HR processes, ensuring they are streamlined and efficient. He is passionate about empowering people to do their best work, believing that a supportive and engaging workplace is key to success. Through his work, Nick aims to connect with employees at all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of growth, development, and collaboration.
Nick has held many roles with JWS as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, and more recently, HR Director. In this capacity overseeing all HR functions, he gained extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, training and development, policy implementation, and more. In 2022, Nick proudly obtained his SHRM certification, solidifying his expertise in the field.
Some of Nick’s notable achievements include:
- Acquiring his SHRM certification.
- Spearheading the growth of the HR department from a sole practitioner to a team of six professionals.
- Advancing expertise in recruitment, job analysis, interview techniques, onboarding process design, policy development, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, Human Resources strategy, and more.
- Enhancing and streamlining the onboarding process.
- Implementing improved performance evaluation systems and Individual Development Plans.
