On-Site Property Manager – Tax Credit

Our client, a well-established property management company, is seeking a Tax Credit experienced On-Site Property Manager for their Section 8 community in Loma Linda! RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the overall administration, compliance, and maintenance of the property, while striving to maintain 100% occupancy
  • Create a community of caring and excitement that is contagious for residents
  • Maintain the property waiting list and ensure applications for housing are processed
  • Review, process, and approve all resident re-certifications and notices of re-certification
  • Ensure that all notices are remitted to residents within the requirements outlined in the lease
  • Visually inspect grounds, buildings, and apartment units regularly, between annual inspections
  • Work cohesively with staff to ensure work orders and vacancy turn-times are completed
  • Prepare deposits for banking and posts resident payments into Yardi
  • Prepare management required month-end reports and annual budget
  • Manage account receivables and ensure past resident balance due receivables are turned over to collection agencies
  • Keep resident ledgers accurate and work diligently with accounting to resolve any errors
  • Respond to all resident complaints in a timely and professional manner

 

Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
  • 2+ years in a leadership and supervisory role
  • 2+ years working in a position with comparable responsibilities
  • 2+ years working in a customer service environment
  • Experience with Tax Credit, Section 8/HUD, and conventional housing
  • Experience with financial management
  • Computer literacy and Yardi expertise; familiarity with billing through the 5059 system on Yardi
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
  • Formal instruction/designations such as a Certified Occupancy Specialist
  • Must be able to pass company sponsored Tax Credit Certification class
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Must possess a valid Driver License and automobile insurance
