The Leasing Consultant is responsible for marketing & leasing apartment homes, resolving resident issues/concerns, and ensuring a smooth operation of the property. Responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant:
- Greet prospective & current residents, providing excellent customer service
- Promote unoccupied properties to future resident(s) through community and apartment tours, consistently maintaining up-to-the-minute knowledge of vacancies and availability dates
- Maintain knowledge about competing properties in the area at all times
- Prepare marketing reports as designated
- Shop all competitors by phone weekly and in-person monthly and assist with the preparation of written market surveys
- Answer calls and inquiries in the leasing office
- Set appointments for prospects to visit the community and apartments
- Present the apartment community, ultimately assisting in sales
- Qualify leads to help generate prospects for the community
- Assist residents with service requests and general questions about the community and home
The Ideal Leasing Consultant Will Have:
- 1+ years’ experience as a Leasing Consultant
- Yardi, computer, and social media skills and experience
- Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) highly preferred
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification preferred
- Vietnamese speaking highly preferred
- Professional and outgoing personality with a passion to serve
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Organized and resourceful nature
- Valid CA driver’s license.
