Leads teams and cross-functional groups to manage audit and accounting engagements. Oversees an average of 5 or more audit personnel on client engagements.
Establishes audit objectives, devises audit plans and programs, and manage resources to conduct multiple audits. Organizes and schedules project groups to assess risk, provides input into the risk assessment process and reports of results.
Oversees all aspects of financial, performance and compliance audits including internal control reviews of clients
Responsible for reviewing reporting outputs for engagements requiring financial analysis support and documentation.
Reviews audit work papers performed and documented by subordinate engagement staff.
Reviews financial reports and statements, making sure that GAAP changes and improvements are accurately implemented. Provides guidance and explanation of complex financial issues to client’s senior management, board of directors and stakeholders. Discusses and explains identified audit and accounting results and issues, recommends corrective action plans for management. Presents audit results and findings to the board or audit committee upon completion of the audit.
Performs budget vs actual analysis of time charges and fees. Leads annual budget setting and forecast process for engagements.
Serve as primary point of contact among Field, Design and Owner teams, owning day-to-day project issue resolution, operations, and management of RFIs, submittals, billings, and change order negotiation and approval.
Lead procurement of materials and equipment to identify and mitigate project supply chain and scheduling risk.
Partner closely with Preconstruction team in subcontract scope buy-outs, general condition forecast, cost-tocomplete and allowance development in GMP finalization. Preconstruction Cost Estimating (MEP)
Scoped, developed, and finalized MEP subcontracts, incorporating market condition, project schedule and logistics considerations, which led to over $15M subcontract awards.
Developed, established, and delivered MEP conceptual and detailed estimates for healthcare, tenant improvement, and higher-education projects.
Advised Owners and Designers on design constructability through identifying design discrepancies and quantifying potential project value engineering opportunities.
