Zachary Adagio was first brought on the JWilliams Staffing team as a leasing consultant in August of 2020 and within two months, landed a full-time position as a Leasing Consultant with a property management company.
With a background in acquisition management & investing, as well as support from the JWilliams Staffing team, Zachary was able to use his communication skills and teachability to quickly and successfully transition into a full-time leasing position.
While with JWilliams Staffing, Zachary learned the value of efficiency and hard work in the leasing office. The methods taught by his JWS manager and those he worked with on-site helped him eliminate busy work and focus on activities that lead to lease agreements.
According to Zachary, his favorite memory from working with JWilliams Staffing was when the COVID pandemic affected his first full-time leasing job that he landed through JWilliams Staffing, requiring him to come back to temporary opportunities with us. He said that he was accepted back by the JWilliams team with open arms and was almost immediately given another full-time opportunity. While the support of our team help Zachary get his foot in the door, this kind of success doesn’t come from just showing up. Zachary’s hard work and willingness to go above and beyond in the workplace is what set him apart.
Zachary’s number one piece of advice for anyone looking to land a full-time position is to, “outwork your competition”. He always did his research before a new assignment so that he showed up already knowing the layouts and costs of each floor plan, the neighborhood/what activities or entertainment were nearby, the availability of each floor plan and which were on which floor (including handicap), and so on. “Applying for a job like this is competitive,” Zachary said, and he is absolutely right.
Since being hired on full-time with a property management company, Zachary has found much success.
Zachary was hired as a Leasing Consultant by this company and has since received salary and commission increases in recognition of his hard work. He attributes this success to the skills he has adapted from JWilliams Staffing. There is no doubt that Zachary’s willingness to learn, adapt, and focus has brought him such great success.
Beyond the workplace, Zachary loves to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Because of his focus in the leasing office, he is able to make the time to enjoy all of these pastimes.
When asked if there was anything else he would like to leave you all with he quoted New York Times best-selling Author, Marianne Williamson:
