Adriana was hired by JWilliams Staffing in May of 2021 and within 4 months she landed a full-time position as a Community Relations Representative for The Irvine Company.
Not many people can say they reached their career goal just a few short months after taking their first step, but that’s exactly what Adriana did! Now she has her eyes set on a new goal: growing within the property management industry. We have no doubt that she will continue to soar to great heights. So how exactly did Adriana reach that first goal? We asked her, and here’s what she shared…
Looking back on her time with JWilliams Staffing, Adriana said she received hands-on experience and tremendous support from our team, which helped her build her confidence and reach her goal of being hired full-time. In addition, having a manager to provide her with coaching and mentorship throughout her time with JWilliams Staffing allowed Adriana to see her strengths.
Adriana came to us with the interpersonal skills and drive needed in this industry, and with some coaching, she was able to utilize those skills and captivate the attention of property management teams. Before long, The Irvine Company offered her the full-time position of Community Relations Representative.
When Adriana was offered this role with The Irvine Company, her JWS manager reminded her that she was talented, dedicated, and ready to take on this exciting offer. With this encouragement, she accepted the role and has been doing amazing things and growing in her career with The Irvine Company ever since. After fulfilling the role of Community Relations Representative with The Irvine Company for a little while, she quickly rose to a Property Manager position.
Adriana exudes confidence in herself and her ability to take on new challenges:

Beyond the workplace, Adriana loves to spend time with her dog, family, and friends. Sharing quality time with the ones around her helps her stay motivated and confident. She also lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys proactive hobbies, including meditation, art, yoga, dancing, and hiking!
Adriana’s desire to avoid small talk likely attributes to her success in the leasing office! When you cut the small talk and focus on conversations of substance, you can better understand someone. Asking engaging questions that help elicit a customer’s values and desires will get you a lot further than chatting about the weather. Adriana’s willingness to dive deep into what’s important to those around her helps her excel in her career.
