Senior Community Manager – On Site Required

Our client, a well-established Property Management Company, is seeking a Senior Community Manager to live on site & manage their apartment communities!

This property management company is seeking an experienced on site Property Manager with excellent problem solving skills and a high level of customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to manage 129 units in Colton, supervising 6-10 employees. The Senior Community Manager will live on site, keeping their communities in great condition, building motivated and reliable teams, and providing the high level of customer service that residents have come to expect.   • Supervise day-to-day operations of the property and on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed
  • Handle the rental, move-in and renewal process.
  • Orchestrate the sales process: invite prospective residents to community, greet and welcome, qualify for community guidelines, pets or other community guidelines.
  • Marketing/driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Tour prospective residents, demonstrating, amenities, models, and vacant apartments.
  • Close prospective residents by asking for hold deposits.
  • Verifies all income, assets, and circumstances that affect program eligibility.
  • Ensure the property is maintained and repaired according to standards.
  • Take service requests and handle tenant issues.
  • Answer phones and make follow up calls from internet inquires.
  • Supervise on-site staff and assign responsibilities as needed.
  • Posting rents by utilizing clients’ property management software program.
  • Maintains adequate accounting records, including records for rents and miscellaneous income.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances
  • Prepares reports including monthly building report.


Education, Qualifications, and Required Skills/Experience
  • 3 years on site property management experience
  • HUD and Tax Credit knowledge required
  • Experienced one or all of the following PM software programs; Yardi, AMSI, MRI, Onesite and Rent Roll.
  • Excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledgeable regarding company policies, federal, state, and local laws.
  • Willingness and ability to live on site
  • Work hours Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
