A dynamic real estate company is looking for a Sales Manager to join their successful firm!

The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities. The Sales Manager staffs and directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. They will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Sales Associates. Primary Responsibilities/Duties
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for each market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Associates.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Conducts one-on-one review with all Sales Associates to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Associate’s sales and activity performance.
  • Insures that all Sales Associates meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, and closes.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Maintains accurate records of all activities performed by Sales Associates.
  • Recruits, tests, and hires Sales Associates based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
     
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in sales management
  • Real Estate experience is a must.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Experience and ability to work with professional buyer groups.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
  • Should understand residential Real Estate transactions. 
  • Commercial Real Estate knowledge a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrates sense of urgency, initiative, responsiveness
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including experience in consensus building and creating highly effective presentations for senior management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable working with and protecting highly confidential information
  • Willingness to travel.
