Primary Responsibilities
- Maintaining occupancy goals by developing resident retention strategies while working with our Director of Leasing
- Working with our Maintenance supervisor to ensure timely repairs and to conduct property evaluations for capital improvements
- Collaborating closely with Senior Management on the growth and expansion of the business
- Arranging contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security and other ongoing services and managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate
- Coordinating with township for annual inspections or other issues that arise
- Working with our team to maintain and regularly evaluate the performance of the business and our portfolio
- Networking within the local business community
- Processing evictions, rent collection, managing revenue stream and financial reviews, accounts payable, and budget preparation
You’re a great fit if you have…
- 3+ years of experience as a Property Manager
- Demonstrated success in leadership, staff development and team building
- Ability to develop and implement new strategies and programs designed to ensure long-term residency
- Knowledge and compliance with community rental information and Federal, State and Local Fair Housing guidelines
- Excellent customer service, communication, and people skills
- Financial and budgeting acumen
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A working knowledge of Appfolio is a plus
