Resident Experience Coordinator – Design Center

Our client, a high-end retirement community in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Resident Experience Coordinator to assist their guests with designing and moving into their retirement homes! This company has a strong emphasis on providing excellent hospitality and promoting a healthy community oriented culture for both their residents and employees.

The Resident Experience Coordinator works with the resident buyer in selecting interior finishes and selection options to enhance the personalization of the home building process. They will also perform all necessary functions to ensure a successful transition of all future residents during the pre-sale and move in process. Essential Responsibilities
  • Assists and guides future residents in standard, upgrade and customize selections (kitchens, flooring, colors, upgrades) through contraction phase to move in
  • Prepares and reviews color selection sheets and change orders and verifies accuracy of information and pricing prior to submittal
  • Prepares closing documentation and internal communication
  • Serves as the primary contact with the future priority residents regarding move-in dates and details surrounding the move-in
  • Develops and updates as needed the community move-in resource guide
  • Participates in marketing events as directed by the Marketing and Sales Director.
  • Occasionally assists with day-to-day operations in the absence of the Sales and Marketing Director
  • Provides backup by meeting with walk-ins and giving tours when the sales associates are meeting with prospects
  • Provides backup for unit turnover selection concerns or move in related issues
  • Influences a hospitality focused environment throughout the community

 

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience with customer service or sales in the real estate industry
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Familiarity with architectural plans
  • Customer service oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Proficient in the use of various software including all Microsoft Office applications
  • Can interface with contractors, architects, etc. in the construction process.
