Purpose of the Recruitment Assistant
The Recruitment Assistant will assist the Recruitment Department to screen, interview, hire and train temporary employees for the Multi-Family division for specified area(s) using training, tools and software provided.
This is an On-Site, Full Time, Non-Exempt position and they will report to the Recruitment Manager.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Primary Responsibilities
- Source, sort, review, and screen candidates from various online platforms to support recruitment efforts; tools and scripts provided for guidance - potential to learn, grow, and take on more recruiting-related tasks if desired
- Reach out via phone call, text, and email to temporary employees for various needs, such as confirming availability to work
- Demonstrate innovation in thinking about possibilities while making decisions and problem solving
- Actively participate in all team meetings; sharing ideas and concepts with other team members and management
- Ability to submit all new hire paperwork and maintain employee’s files in Applicant Tracking System
- Assist in identifying business opportunities by searching client career pages on the internet for listed openings and aggregating a list for targeting purposes.
- Assist with administrative tasks as directed and required from the Recruitment Manager, including calling, texting, emailing, and following up on Recruitment Deparment’s behalf
- Coordinating tasks as needed with corporate onboarding and scheduling staff
- Perform various clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2+ years’ experience in an Administrative role; experience with recruiting, staffing a plus, call center experience welcomed
- Computer-savvy a MUST; experience with Outlook, Excel, data entry, and ATS or CRM software
- Customer service experience – phone and e-mail etiquette
- Strong time-management skills and ability to switch between tasks based on current need
- Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-starter, ability to multitask and prioritize
- Embraces working in a team environment
- Spanish Bilingual a plus
