Property Manager – Multi-Family

Our client, a prestigious Residential Property Management Company, is looking for a Property Manager to join their successful team! The Property Manager will ensure a smooth operation at their assigned property of 354 units. They will focus on optimizing current systems, making informed recommendations, developing an organized flow, managing maintenance and leasing staff, and using their expertise to navigate the responsibilities needed to run the property. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on multiple tasks. Apply today for immediate consideration!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the success of the property and eliminate lost revenues due to vacancies by overseeing timely turnover, advertising units, screening tenants, and negotiating lease terms
  • Manage and mentor on-site staff, including prioritizing and delegating work to onsite personnel, reviewing time cards, and submitting employee payroll
  • Prepare daily and weekly financial reports
  • Timely enforcement of late fees and/or evictions for non-payment of rents or violation of community rules
  • Prepare monthly lease renewals and perform monthly property inspections
  • Prioritize Capital improvements while scheduling vendors for property projects
  • Act as liaison between tenants and property owners
  • Maintain property by addressing tenant complaints, coordinating the maintenance schedule, completing repairs, contracting vendors and enforcing rules of occupancy
  • Coordinate resident functions to increase retention
Qualifications:
  • Senior-level experience in Multifamily Property Management.
  • Accreditation or equal experience as a Property Manager.
  • Knowledge of property management software (Yardi, Resman, Onsite, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability to manage office dynamics.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve on the spot.
  • Experience with budgets and financial reports
  • Stellar tenant communications, and lease retention.
