Property Manager /Community Director

Our client, a successful Property Management Company, is seeking a Property Manager/Community Director to join their team! The Property Manager will manage and oversee the apartment community including leasing, maintenance, and the overall success of the property. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee apartment community while striving for maximum occupancy
  • Manage and work in conjunction with leasing team
  • Perform tenant screenings, maintain trust log and accounting
  • Timely enforcement of late fees and/or evictions for non-payment of rents or violation of community rules
  • Lease apartments by touring available apartments, negotiating and signing leases, and processing deposits and payments
  • Maintain property by addressing tenant complaints, scheduling the completion of maintenance or repairs, and inspecting common areas and vacant apartments
  • Stay familiar with the local community and aware of competing projects
  • Interpret trends in traffic and relay prospect feedback and/or objections
  • Maintain and consistently update community databases and systems
  • Reside at the community full time
  • Comply with USH Life Policies and Procedures and Fair Housing Laws


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years’ experience in property management on a larger apartment community (100+ units)
  • Related experience in Real Estate sales and/or management a plus
  • Minimum of Associates Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in computer programs, including Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in accounting, collection/managing funds, and generating reports
