Our client, a prestigious and dynamic Multi-Family Housing Management Company, is an established leader in the national management of luxurious apartment communities. They are seeking a talented, motivated, and growth-minded Leasing Professional to represent their team onsite.
The role of the Leasing Professional is to take full responsibility for the leasing process from initial prospect contact to actual occupancy, including conveying the benefits of the community to all prospects, residents, and guests. This is all done with the goal of maximizing occupancy for the community. The ideal candidate will have some leasing experience, but more importantly will be enthusiastic, customer service focused, and results driven. Apply today for immediate consideration!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet prospects and qualify them by asking all appropriate rental criteria
- Inspect tour route and model apartment(s) daily, communicate any service related requests
- Maintain follow up with all prospects
- Demonstrate the community and model and apply feature/benefit selling, close the sale.
- Accept rental payments and answer basic questions about resident/prospect ledgers.
- Create lease paperwork and verify for proper completion
- Assist in planning leasing events. Attend events and be an active participant
- Assist in placing, updating, and removing signs, banners, balloons, etc.
- Help conduct market surveys and shop the competing properties on a quarterly basis
- Assist with Resident retention including hosting Resident functions
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Education and Qualification Requirements
- 2+ years of apartments leasing preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Great customer service skills
- Motivated and sales oriented
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to stay positive in all situations.
- Ability to operate telephone, computer, copier, fax, and office printers.
- Working knowledge of ResMan software a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights. Weekends are required.
