Our client, a well-established Real Estate Management firm, is seeking an Interior Design Project Coordinator to join their team! With offices in Los Angeles and New York, this company specializes in the management of apartment buildings and shopping centers. They are expanding our operations, and are seeking qualified candidates to join their team!

The ideal Interior Design Project Coordinator will have a background in both Interior Design and Project Management, with both Multi-Family Residential and Commercial properties.  We are looking for someone who has a passion for interior design, keeps abreast of current trends, and has experience creating Proposals and Scopes of Work.  This person must also be well organized, detail oriented, and have strong follow-through when working with vendors.   • Secure and manage business relationships with suppliers;
  • Prepare materials lists for Purchase Orders;
  • Request proposals for Purchase Orders;
  • Proposal negotiation;
  • Purchasing and distribution of materials and equipment; and
  • Follow-up regarding the status of materials purchases, until installation.
  • Prepare scopes of work and plans of action for Work Orders;
  • Assign Work Orders to Maintenance Department employees;
  • Follow-up regarding the status of Work Orders assigned to Maintenance Department employees, until completion; and
  • Inspect Work Orders completed by Maintenance Department employees for quality workmanship, compliance, and safety, among other things.


  • Interior design degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Drafting Experience
  • Has a portfolio of their work
  • AutoCAD and/or Sketchup experience
  • Photoshop experience
  • Experience working for an interior design firm
  • Experience working on commercial projects (multi-family, retail, offices, and restaurants)
  • Working relationships with suppliers for interior finishes
  • Experience supervising full kitchen and bathroom renovations
  • Experience supervising and overseeing a Vendor's Work
  • Can examined a finished project and determine if the work is substandard
