The Human Resources Manager guides and manages the overall provision of the Human Resources services, policies, and programs. The Human Resources Manager coordinates the implementation of people related services, policies, and programs and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Supports organization staff by recruiting, testing, and interviewing candidates; as well as counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, and recommending changes
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurtures a positive working environment
  • Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintains and manages pay plan, payroll, and benefits program
  • Assesses training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
  • Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Reports to management and provides decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management
     
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
