Essential Functions & Basic Duties
  • Be the first point of contact to answer and provide guidance to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Provides administrative support to the Senior Director of Human Resources including calendar/schedule management, expense reports, and ensure materials are produced within established time frames with high quality standards (e.g. reports, correspondence and other related documents).
  • Assist with on-boarding/new hire process, including uniform fittings, paperwork, etc.
  • Provides miscellaneous administrative duties to ensure optimum function of department (e.g. filing new hire and termination personnel files, messenger coordination, copies, and phone support).
  • Organize and alphabetize files, including shared drive files
  • Prepare packets for New Hire Orientation weekly


Minimum Qualifications - Education & Experience
  • College degree required and/or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual ‘’English/Spanish” is required
  • 1-3 years HR experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude and poised confidence
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to analyze and summarize data in a meaningful way.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience with HR Systems preferred but not required (SAP, Kronos, ADP)
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws is a plus
