ABOUT THE ROLE

The Escrow Assistant will be responsible for opening and closing escrow accounts, backing up the escrow team, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with an escrow company and will be a positive self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced, forward thinking environment.

 

The Escrow Assistant will be responsible for:
  • Providing support to team and office by delivering the finest customer service and supporting administrative duties related to escrow transactions.
  • Initiating opening or closing of escrow accounts.
  • Reviewing contracts, title commitments, and orders in preparation for closing as well as assemble the necessary documents.
  • Ordering demands and other documents within a timely manner of receipt of open order request and follow up as necessary.
  • Assisting in title curative issues
  • Interpreting earnest money agreements as they relate to closing and prepare all documents required for transactions.
  • Maintaining high confidentiality regarding clients and their accounts.
  • Answering, prescreening and assisting in all correspondence via phone, email, or direct interaction.
  • Coordinating with the escrow team and outside departments in various operations.
  • Adhering to the rules and regulations of escrow in all operations.

 

The Escrow Assistant will possess these qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing exceptional customer service/support within an escrow organization.
  • Self-motivated, team orientated and focused on exceeding customers’ expectations
  • Tech Savvy
  • Ability to prioritize and handle time effectively
  • Possess a charismatic "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Progressive culture positive, high energy forward thinking
  • Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • College degree preferred but not necessary
