Customer Service Manager – Staffing Industry

The Customer Service Manager will oversee a team of roughly 12 Scheduling Enthusiasts who receive staffing orders and place temporary candidates on site. They should be a strong leader that will motivate and lead this team to achieve outstanding customer service and increase their order fill rate. The Customer Service Manager will also be looked at to strategize, develop, and implement new ways that JWilliams Staffing can maintain and exceed our reputation as providing the best service in the industry. The Customer Service Manager should have a management background in the Staffing Industry and have a passion for leading and developing teams with enthusiasm.

 

The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for…
  • Motivating and managing the Scheduling Department to ensure orders are being filled and excellent customer service is provided
  • Strategizing with the Senior Vice President and CEO to ensure consistent growth and department performance
  • Reviewing daily each team member’s open orders and tasks and providing guidance where needed
  • Resolving escalated client or candidate issues or complaints
  • Updating company policies as needed to ensure an effective and reliable process for the Scheduling Department
  • During high-volume periods, jumping in to provide support for the department
  • Reporting on lost hours and open orders; reconciling active assignment reports and specific client reports
  • Hiring and training new additions to the Scheduling Team as we grow
  • Supporting the payroll department by ensuring timely review of payroll reports
  • Organizing their team’s monthly schedule
  • Maintaining the company culture by holding energetic weekly team meetings and organizing monthly team bonding events

 

The Customer Service Manager should possess the following qualifications…
  • 3 years’ experience in management in the Staffing Industry
  • Scheduling software experience/Tech savvy
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
  • Proven success managing a team through intense & diverse situations
  • Customer focused and driven to create superb customer experiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups in a wide variety of settings
  • Effectively implement change as needed
  • Thinks strategically, keeping the company brand and success in mind at all times
  • A strong leader who motivates individuals and inspire high performance
  • Ability to recruit, retain, coach and develop staff
