Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant – LIHTC/HUD

Our client, a highly successful national property management company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their expert team!

Position Purpose

Providing administrative support and bookkeeping/accounting functions for the apartment community, ensuring the efficient operation of the office. They will support the overall objective of meeting the expectations of the Client, based on the respective financial operating budget and management agreement.

 

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or accounting support role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • Must have a familiarity with affordable housing programs, including but not limited to: LIHTC, HUD programs
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, accounting-related software, email, internet).
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance
