General Job Responsibilities:

• Visit architects, commercial landscape contractors, select residential paving contactors, and some municipalities (fire depts, cities, agencies)
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and functions
• Evaluate Existing and Potential small to mid-size paver and retaining wall contractors
• Educate designers and contractors on product specific construction details and techniques relevant to our products
• Keep database up to date
• Help maintain contractor referral list
• Seek sales through construct connect of similar products and work through the substitution process
• Ability to perform presentations to contractors and design professionals
• Learn products to a technical level per application within 90 days and be able to answer technical questions to designers
• Learn installation per application in order to properly guide contractors within 90 days
• Read and interpret landscape construction plans within 90 days. Grow into reading & interpreting civil plans within 1st year
• 80% out-of-office travel will be required

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technical or construction work experience in the hardscape industry (pavers and retaining walls)
• Strong decision-making skills, quickly adaptable, and results-driven
• Strong interpersonal skills, be able to take initiative and be disciplined to work independently
• Strong software and computer skills (CRM Sales Force, MS Office, Powerpoint, Google Apps)
• Thrives in a team environment and is a positive team player
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis
• Excellent verbal and written communication
