Our client, a successful Bay Area Property Management company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team. This company owns and manages apartment communities throughout the South Bay Area and Peninsula.

Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the full cycle Accounts Payable function, including the reconciliation of vendor statements and research various accounts payable issues. This is a temp-to-hire position with a strong chance of hire for the right candidate – an excellent opportunity to ensure the right fit for both you and the company. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for high volume, full cycle Accounts Payable processing.
  • Process invoices through Pay Scan.
  • Process weekly check run.
  • Process security deposit disbursement checks for move-outs
  • Maintain Accounts Payable system records including but not limited to collection of W-9’s, and vendor information including insurance information.
  • Assist in the preparation of Form 1099, 1098, 1096 tax forms.
  • Make copies of utility invoices for RUBS Reimbursements.
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Keep Accounting Manager informed of important issues and critical information.
  • Interface effectively with Resident Managers, Property Managers, etc.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as requested.
  • Maintain Vendor relations.
  • Serve as back-up to Office Coordinator during her absence.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
  • Property Management Industry experience.
  • Yardi property management software.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and attention to detail.
  • Requires a team player with ability to interface with all levels of management and personnel.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
