HomeAid
COMMUNITY GIVING
HomeAid is a leading nonprofit developer of housing and programmatic facilities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Their mission is to help people experiencing (or at risk of) homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education.
Starting each year on Mother’s Day, HomeAid hosts an annual diaper drive to collect donations of diapers and wipes. Our corporate team donates their time and money to purchase diapers and deliver them to HomeAid.

California Love Drop
COMMUNITY GIVING
What started as a single delivery of 300 meals from Wahoo’s Fish Taco to Hoag Hospital in Irvine, CA on April 12, 2020, has turned into an astounding collaboration known as the California Love Drop. As of today, the California Love Drop has delivered over 11,000 meals to frontline workers (police, firefighters, healthcare) at 61 different locations across multiple counties.
When JoAnne caught wind of this initiative, she volunteered herself and her team to lend a hand. In the height of the coronavirus pandemic, our team went out and helped hand deliver dozens of meals to our frontline heroes.

Greystar Charity Golf Event
COMMUNITY GIVING
Greystar’s annual Charity Golf Event is committed to donating 100% of its proceeds to support combat veterans battling PTSD. The PTSD Foundation of America is an organization focused on helping military communities heal from PTSD through counseling and peer mentoring, offered both individually and in group settings.

Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on providing free services that address the critical needs of people with MS and their families, helping them maintain the best quality of life.
JWilliams Staffing proudly gives annually to the MS foundation. MS presents physical, emotional, and financial challenges for families affected by it. Helping to ease the burdens for these families is incredibly important to the entire JWS team.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
COMMUNITY GIVING
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. Their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
JWilliams Staffing is honored to support LLS in their efforts to fight blood cancers. Donations to this organization are used for research, education, support, policy, and advocacy to develop new treatments and bring about a cure for these life-threatening cancers.

Outside of the office, President and CEO JoAnne Williams is involved with both national and international humanitarian efforts. JoAnne carries her values and passion beyond the workplace and continually gives back to women and families across the world. Each of these efforts she holds dear to her heart and hopes to continue to make a positive impact through them.
Impact Giving
Impact Giving is a nonprofit women’s “collective giving” organization with a purpose to make an impact both locally and globally by supporting positive sustainable social change where most needed. JoAnne has been a partner since 2014 and served on Grant Committees multiple times. Each year this group of dynamic women give away hundreds of thousands of dollars to deserving nonprofit organizations and foundations locally and across the globe.

Mosaic Vision
Mosaic Vision is a nonprofit organization that helps support orphans of AIDS victims throughout Africa. JoAnne’s involvement has been in the Uganda Region. Mosaic Vision has local representation, with annual visits organized. The organization provides much needed care, resources, and supplies to orphans who are adopted by members. Donations provide shelter, beds, education, clothing and support to nurture the adopted children’s spiritual growth and success.

Care and compassion are essential parts of each member of the JWilliams Staffing team. They regularly donate money and time to pursue humanitarian efforts that impact our local communities. From volunteering at pantries and kitchens to cultivating positive social change, our team puts their whole heart into putting more good into the world.

2004-2007
B.J. Stewart Women’s Achievement Award
From the years 2004 to 2007, CEO and President, JoAnne Williams, served on the board of directors for the Southern California Building Industry’s Sales and Marketing Council, where she had a direct hand in supporting the exchange of ideas and development of professional skills in the home building industry. She co-chaired the Sales and Marketing’s Education Committee for 11 years prior to establishing JWilliams Staffing. In 2004, JoAnne was selected as the recipient of the annual B.J. Stewart Women’s Achievement Award, presented to outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a commitment and made a significant impact on the progress of women in the building industry.
President of SoCal Greater Sales & Marketing Council
In 2007, JoAnne was elected President of the Southern Californian Greater Sales and Marketing Council, where she continued to have a direct impact on the development and growth of the sales, marketing and home building industry’s programs, educational offerings, mentoring programs and through JWS, the industry professionals who were seeking new opportunities.
2008-2011
Founded the thought leaders group "Connect"
JoAnne assembled a group of thought leaders who referred to their group as “Connect”. They would gather to share ideas & support individuals in the home building industry during one of the biggest downturns in real estate history. During this time, JoAnne’s team hosted networking events, partnered with the Building Industry to present workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and more to help members of the industry get back on their feet.
2012-2015
JWilliams Staffing Gives Back
In 2015, JWilliams Staffing’s regional managers supported the following organizations: Freedom House in Northern California, Families Forward in Southern California, UMOM New Day Centers in Arizona, Home Builders Foundation of Metro Denver, HomeAid America in Seattle, and the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
CA Builders Compensation and Benefit Guides
As the housing market continued its recovery, JWilliams Staffing teamed up with the California Building Industry Association to survey California builders and building industry associate firms state-wide on specific and extensive salary and benefit information. As builders were building back their teams after the 2008-2010 downturn, this Compensation and Benefit Guide provided a benchmark to start the hiring negotiation process for many. After conducting and publishing this survey for 3 years, the National Association of Home Builders took over the project. These Compensation and Benefit Guides played a pivotal role in getting the home building industry back to work.
