From June 18 to June 21, more than 7,000 multifamily housing professionals will come together in Denver for the 2014 National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference & Exposition. JWilliams Staffing is excited to announce that we will be among those heading to Denver.
Attendees will want to make plans to attend the Opening General Session on Thursday, June 19 at 12:30 p.m. to hear Emmy-winning actor Michael J. Fox give the opening keynote: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future. During the inspiring speech, Fox will draw on his personal experiences to emphasize that real learning and growth actually happen when life goes skidding sideways.
In addition to Fox, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from two stars of ABC's Shark Tank: Barbara Corcoran and Kevin Harrington. During the general session on Thursday, June 20 at 9:45 a.m., Corcoran and Harrington will pull from real-life experiences to share their tips for success. Following their speeches, three lucky entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Corcoran and Harrington with one winner receiving $5,000. Projects to be pitched include Tim Haddon's Treadal (a bike treadmill), Peter Thorpe's Auto Safety Stove Shutoff and Joseph Westlake's Project Management Tool for Property Managers.
While there will be a lot of Hollywood favorites at this year's conference, you do not have to be a celebrity to enjoy a little red carpet glam this year. We are excited to announce that our booth will feature a fun step-and-repeat that is perfect for a photo opp. Our 'talent scouts'? will also be on hand to share information about our staffing solutions, as well as to interview potential candidates for temporary and full-time positions.
