Rocio was referred to JWilliams Staffing by a friend and colleague back in 2006 and was hired by JWilliams Staffing Regional Manager, Victoria Lund. Coming from a resale background, she wanted to get her foot in the door with new home builders in her area.
As the resale market began to soften in 2006, Rocio began to look into a more stable new home sales career. After being referred to JWilliams Staffing, Rocio knew the best way to reach her goal of being hired in the Homebuilding Industry was to learn while gaining experience and exposure on temporary assignments with various builder teams. Rocio said it took time and hard work, but that she was ultimately able to land her first job with a new home builder.
Rocio grew in her career very quickly after being hired as a sales hostess by a local builder from JWilliams Staffing. After this first full-time role, Rocio was hired on with her current employer, K Hovnanian Homes, and has now been selling for them for about 12 years. This year she was promoted to Sales Manager for K Hovnanian’s Northern California region.
Rocio’s dedication and ability to gain diverse experience with various builders through JWilliams Staffing is what she believes set her up to be hired by a builder full-time. She had her eyes set on her goal and worked hard every day to reach it. One of her favorite memories with JWilliams Staffing was being trained by two sales agents in Tulare who showed her the ins and outs of the industry.
Rocio’s drive and determination helped her stand out in the best ways. She has received top sales recognition, has achieved President’s Club 4 years in a row, and is well on her way to her 5th year. Rocio has also won sales volume awards for 5 consecutive years, ranging from $5 million to $25 million in sales.
As Rocio’s position evolved throughout her career, so have her values.
One trait we have consistently seen throughout the most successful sales agents is how much they care for their clients, and Rocio is no exception. As a sales agent, the thing that she valued most was helping her clients find their perfect home. Since growing into the management position, Rocio has loved leading, coaching, and training her team grow and succeed in their own sales.
Beyond the workplace, Rocio loves to spend time with her family as well as travel. She also happens to be a big movie buff! Rocio is bilingual and is fluent in English and Spanish, which has allowed her to connect more with her clients and prospects.
