11 Ways to Define Professionalism

11 Ways to Define Professionalism from Naomi Bailey

This month, our JWS Biz Tip video series features Naomi Bailey, Professional Trainer of leasing agents for the multi-family industry. Naomi offers her perspective on 11 ways to define professionalism.

Over the last 23 years, Naomi has been flexing her Sales expertise between sales leadership roles and working with companies who outsource their training and marketing needs. With a Bachelors degree in Business and an emphasis in Marketing, Naomi’s experience has been in outside sales and training and consulting. In 2003 she developed  Naomi Bailey Performance Training. Then, between 2015 and 2023, she advanced her career in sales before returning to her passion of training other professionals and she created Elevate Consulting where she is the  trainer for multiple clients. Her services are a blend of creating customized sales and customer service training programs, facilitating those classes, integrating sales contests to motivate and recognize exceptional performance, implementing relevant marketing ideas and following up with customized Webinars to provide convenient ongoing training as needed.

Naomi has made it her mission to help people reach their personal best especially when it comes to Selling! Her vision is to be your very own training and marketing department providing flexibility and cost-effective solutions. She is a regularly featured speaker at apartment associations throughout Southern California and a past instructor for the CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) course for SDCAA.

In our most recent project with Naomi:

She facilitated a “Leasing Consultant” training session that incorporated her advice on the proper way to greet visitors who walk onto a property seeking their new home. In addition, she shared with the attendees how important it is to make sure to obtain contact information; sharing that the builder invested quite a bit into marketing and advertising their property, and the guest who walks in is most likely a seriously motivated customer. It is a leasing consultants’ responsibility to develop a relationship, to learn what the customer needs, and to share how the property could meet their needs. Or, if the property doesn’t fit their needs to share a sister property in the portfolio and offer to do anything possible to help the customer in their purchasing journey.

JWilliams Staffing has trusted the advice and training provided by Naomi Bailey for 20 years. At JWS we want our clients to have great leasing consultants who are invested in their success, so we provide ongoing training from companies like Naomi Bailey’s from Elevate Consulting.
