<h5><strong>General Job Responsibilities:</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li>Make basic repairs to appliances (garbage disposal, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, icemakers, laundry equipment, ovens, stoves)</li>
<li>Identify and correct hazardous property conditions, look for needed maintenance and liability hazards and repair/report to Maintenance Supervisor</li>
<li>Perform turn-key work as required to ensure vacancies are rent-ready in a timely manner for new residents</li>
<li>Operate washer and dryer and cleaning equipment normally associated with position</li>
<li>Communications and Entertainment Systems (telephone, television, cable, internet, call button and alarm systems)</li>
<li>Repair plumbing fixtures (leaky faucets, toilets, sinks, drain, valves, water lines)</li>
<li>Perform wall texturing, painting, wall repairs, and wallpapering as needed</li>
<li>Perform rough and finish carpentry as well as door removal and installation</li>
<li>Heating and Air Conditioning Equipment (HVAC)</li>
<li>Smoke Detectors & Carbon Monoxide Alarms</li>
</ul>
<h5><strong>Requirements:</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li>2+ years’ of Residential Maintenance experience</li>
<li>HVAC certifications highly preferred</li>
<li>EPA required</li>
<li>CPO highly preferred</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>
<li>Experience with residential plumbing, painting, hardware installation, trouble shooting & repairs, electric, and other general maintenance.</li>
<li>Basic tools required. Advanced or specialized equipment provided.</li>
<li>Customer service orientated with the ability to work well with residents, vendors, management, and co-workers</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA</li>
