Assistant Asset Manager

Our client, a prominent real estate company, is seeking an Assistant Asset Manager to join their team! The opening for Assistant Asset Manager is at a small yet prominent Miracle Mile based family owned real estate company who focuses on the management, financing, development, and leasing of a large portfolio of self-owned and managed properties. The ideal candidate for Assistant Asset Manager will be driven, highly organized, and have experience in Commercial Real Estate or Asset Management. Essential Functions & Basic Duties:


  • Take an active role in asset management
  • Develop tenant and vendor relationship management
  • Assist with property budgeting and forecasting
  • Help with managing and leasing the commercial and residential portfolio
  • Collaborate with team members on projects as assigned
  • Prepare materials for presentations using PowerPoint
  • Maintain property records, images, and documents
  • Ordering and following up on maintenance requests and services
  • Website oversight and management
  • Market research



Education, Qualifications, Designations and Required Skills/Experience:


Basic Qualifications

  • Interest in real estate management
  • Driven, tenacious and entrepreneurial by nature
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Property management accounting software knowledge preferred.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in Commercial Real Estate or Asset Management 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or closely related field is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to unexpected changes in schedules and projects
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Background in construction and property development with ability to review plans and assist in obtaining permits is a plus
  • Must have own transportation as site visits are a requirement
