2014 has been an exciting time for the real estate and home building industry as it has continued to rebound and strengthen. Last week, JWilliams Staffing had the opportunity to celebrate, learn and network with other industry professionals during the 2014 Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC).
We kicked-off the conference on June 24, attending the California Homebuilding Foundation Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Recognizing seven individuals who have enriched the homebuilding industry through innovation, public service and philanthropy, the 2014 Hall of Fame gala was extra special as it celebrated its 30th year. In addition to honoring the spectacular Class of 2014, the Hall of Fame reunited the most successful builders, architects, developers and real estate professionals in the homebuilding industry.
On Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26, we attended the actual conference held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Highlights of this year's conference included keynote addresses from Sheryl Connelly, Ben Zander and Gary Vaynerchuk, Sales Boot Camp sessions, Multifamily Trends Conference and much more. Additionally, we provided the event staff for Revel, a fantastic party held at AT&T Park on Wednesday night.
In addition to the top-notch education courses, we had the opportunity to walk around the show floor with more than 100 booths that included The City from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, The Parade of Products, The Guest Home and Ultimate Kitchen from Professional Builder magazine and the Key Buyers Club.
On Thursday night, we celebrated those 'who improve our communities through exceptional concepts in design, planning and development'? during the 51st Annual Gold Nugget Awards. As a sponsor of the event, we had a fantastic night networking with our peers and celebrating the successes of 2013.
PCBC was founded in 1959 as a small conference at the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Over the years, PCBC has grown to be one of the top homebuilding conferences in the nation as a result of its emphasis on creating valuable connections.
It is an exciting time in the real estate and homebuilding industry, and at JWS we enjoy not only working in the industry, but also helping real estate companies staff their businesses for success. For more information, visit the JWilliams Staffing website today.
